Who we are
Rhode Island Street Rodding Association, a non-profit (501 c) organization, was formed in 1973 by a small group of dedicated hot rod enthusiasts. Shortly thereafter it evolved to a Charter Club of the National Street Rod Association. NSRA is the largest street rod association in the world. This is our 47th anniversary which allows us to proudly claim to be the oldest street rod club in Rhode Island. Our first show, The Annual Automotive Extravaganza is on Memorial Day, May 25th. This year will mark the 29th year that the event benefits the Johnston Little League. August features Hot Rods and Harleys Haul, for us at the Charlestown Sea Food Festival which is held on August 9th. We have our oldest show, the 45th Annual "Toys for Tots" Fun Run for the Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend Oct 11th (rain date Oct 12th ). Monthly meetings are held on the first Friday of each month at 1 Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI.
