Who we are

Rhode Island Street Rodding Association, a non-profit (501 c) organization, was formed in 1973 by a small group of dedicated hot rod enthusiasts. Shortly thereafter it evolved to a Charter Club of the National Street Rod Association. NSRA is the largest street rod association in the world. This is our 48th anniversary which allows us to proudly claim to be the oldest street rod club in Rhode Island.   Our first show, The Annual Automotive Extravaganza is on Memorial Day, May 25th. This year will mark the 31st year that the event benefits the Johnston Little League.  August features Hot Rods and Harleys Haul, for us at the Charlestown Sea Food Festival which is held on August 8th.  We have our oldest show, the 46th Annual "Toys for Tots" Fun Run for the Sunday of Columbus Day Weekend Oct 10th (rain date Oct 11th ).      Monthly meetings are held on the first Friday of each month at 1 Rhodes Place, Cranston, RI.
